with Sandra Smith.

I am ACE aware and Trauma informed, I started studying "bottom up therapy" in 2016, bringing more of a mind body approach to my practice. Neuroscience is proving that your body holds a record of everything you have been through since you were conceived. I have seen dramatic results by helping my clients tune in to what their body is saying, enabling them to have a better understanding of themselves.

I am here to help you

Your options for working with me...

After lockdown, there has been a huge upsurge in online counselling. The tendency to compare in-person and online therapy is natural and often useful but it is not a fair comparison.

I have had a lot of experience working with clients online, but I do have a personal bias to working face to face. Online therapy requires a different kind of listening, because the senses are reduced to sight and sound. It is far more intense for the therapist.

Counselling governing bodies recommend that therapists have longer breaks between online clients, and therefore see less clients in a day. The implications of these recommendations, has been reflected in the increased price of my online counselling service. Below I have listed the advantage of both online and in person counselling. At the end of the day, it is a choice only you can make.
